⭐Bonus Activity: Advice From a Former Student

This activity requires students to give their BEST advice to future students. Save these important pieces of advice to give to your students next year. In the past, I’ve put these on each desk before students arrive on the first day of school. Some years, I choose to read them aloud to students on the first day or sometime during the first week.

Pages included in the Teacher Report Card:

  • Cover – Students write their teacher’s name, school year, and grade.
  • Rate Your Learning – Includes directions and an opportunity for students to let their teacher know what they liked most and least about each classroom subject.
  • Rate Your Teacher – Students check A LOT, SOME, or NOT AT ALL based on a list of teaching abilities.
  • Character Traits – Students circle 5 positive character traits that best describe their teacher.
  • Teacher Evaluation: Emoji Style – Students evaluate the teacher by circling or coloring emoji faces that describe their feelings about their teacher.
  • Favorite Memories and Suggestions – Students write about their favorite classroom memories and offer suggestions to the teacher for next year.
  • Draw a Portrait of Your Teacher – Students are given a blank template page to draw a portrait of their teacher.
  • Final Comments and Final Grade – Students are asked to write a personal note to the teacher and give a final letter grade for the year.

NOTE: These pages are set up to print as a booklet. Step by step printing directions is included so that the pages fold over into a front and back booklet for students.

This activity is perfect for…
