Students use the color next to each answer choice they chose to color the grid. They locate the number of the problem on the mystery picture. Then, they color the square to match the color beside the answer choice they circled. When students color the mystery picture, they’ll know AND you’ll know if they answered all of the questions correctly.

⭐You can also choose to make the coloring page optional. Students do not need the color-by-code mystery picture page to complete each activity.

Teachers like you said:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a fabulous resource! I love mystery pictures, but it is hard to find good ones for reading. This is a great one for reading! However, the best part is the digital version. My students loved it. It is so amazing to enter the answer and have the picture appear. So, you are getting a quality review with an exciting twist. This is a must-have resource! –Gay La C.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I used these and the other seasonal mystery pictures with my 4th graders. OMG! They loved to work these out as a review tool before assessments. However, they would get so upset when their picture was wrong because they rushed. I love the many lessons that were taught using these pages. I will continue to use these in the years to come. –Erin G.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My students and I both love these resources! My students love the mystery picture and I love how well it aligns with the standards. These questions are rigorous without being frustrating for the kids. –Tawyn G.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My students love using these resources. I own several of them. These are a great “fun” opportunity to practice reading skills. I love including these in my guest teacher folder when I have to be out of the classroom. Great resource! –Jessica S.
