Opinion writing is the main skill highlighted throughout this mini-unit. This reading comprehension packet and book test can be used with both editions of the book.

Why does this resource not require a book?
This book is available as a read-aloud with video on the following websites. Due to copyright law, I cannot provide you with the links. Search: on any of the websites below to share the video read-aloud with your students. Many schools have subscriptions to Book Flix and/or Epic Books. If your school does not have a subscription, I suggest doing a quick search on YouTube where you’ll find several read-aloud options.
